Green Smoothies Review - Is Green Smoothies Healthier Than Man Made Vitamin and Mineral Supplements?

This Green Smoothies review will give you a list of the daily essential vitamins and minerals this powerful drink is loaded with, as well as teaching you some of the health benefits you can have by consuming them everyday. By the end of this review, you will be able to decide whether or not you would prefer Green Smoothies over synthetic man made vitamin and mineral supplements or (smvms).
First off, I think Green Smoothies didn't get the recognition they deserve yet because of all of the smvms out in the market. Plus, with the hectic lifestyles most of us lead these days, it's a lot easier to swallow a pill. One question that pops up frequently is this. Do the smvms actually give you the amount of vitamins and minerals found in plant foods? I feel they don't! It's been proven, many of the smvms aren't readily absorbed in the body, they are just excreted through the colon and urine. With so many different types of smvms in the market place today, claiming to deliver the highest amount of the daily vitamin and mineral recommendation, It can be very difficult to figure out which is best for you. But with plants, such as leafy greens blended to make a green smoothie, the choice is simple. Right? Absolutely! There's no guessing at all. All in all, without that even said, I have my definite doubts with smvms in providing the benefits you can reap from leafy greens.
I primarily feel this way because our bodies weren't designed to supplement the all natural and delicious health benefits of leafy greens, which is the main ingredient in Green Smoothies.
My first instinct is totally against any smvms. Anything manufactured in a laboratory by man can't replace the benefits of what mother nature had intended for our bodies. Combining the rainbow of vegetables and fruit and drinking them in a smoothie is what mother nature wanted us to enjoy, not a smvms pill you take from a jar.
My second concern regarding Green Smoothies vs. smvms, do we really know the true affects of smvms in the long run. I truly doubt it! Perhaps they won't have any negative affects, but there again, do they have any positive impact on our health? Especially, as stated earlier, if they aren't readily absorbed in the body, what real benefit do we actually get? Very little in my opinion!
